Ghost Hunting At Nottingham Galleries of Justice, With Simply Ghost Nights, 22nd July

Dare you join the Simply Ghost Night team on a ghost hunting event at the Galleries of Justice, this former Court and Gaol is now a museum and dates back to at least 1450. The court itself is a majestic panelled room complete with the judges bench, the galleries above for the watching spectators and the dreaded dock, right next to the staircase that lead the prisoners to their awaiting hell, where torture and a brutal existence awaited these poor souls.
It was said that you could be tried, convicted and hung to death in one day at the galleries of justice. The gaol held all manner of criminals from poor debtors, petty criminals, to murderers, the more heinous the crime the further down the gaol you were held and the more squalid your existence.

On our previous visits to this location, we once heard the sound of chains been pulled through the shackles that were embedded into a prison cell wall, however there was no chains in the empty cell !! We also experienced such as amazing light analomies in one cell as for one ghost hunter to state that it was just "like Blackpool illuminations".

In the ladies quarters we heard such violent banging on request , when communicating with a ghostly soul who still inhabited there subterranean world.
We were once informed by a security guard at the galleries of justice, that on one occasion in the darkest depths of the gaol in the foreboding caves, a cats paw prints were seen to be walking across the caves causing indentations in the caves sandy floor by an invisible phantom feline.

We also experienced the noise of what could only be described as children’s footsteps running up and down an empty corridor. Do the spirits of these poor wretched children still play in this building?
So participate at this world renowned most haunted of locations, and investigate which spectral beings still haunt this building, and why they still do so.

Her father not wanting his daughter to have a relationship with the Knight, is said to have locked her up in the tower. It is not known what happened to her after her incarceration or even if she survived it, but her ghost which is said to be seen many times still remains to this day, mourning the loss of her one true love.

Ghost Hunting At Cusworth Hall, With Chris Conway & The Simply Ghost Nights Team

http://www.simplyghostnights.co.uk/Yet again the Simply Ghost Nights team were staggered at the help afforded to us by the Cusworth hall staff of , Phil and Craig, no job was too small for them as they provided a first class service that enabled the event to run smoothly and professionally, and we thank them for all their assistance.

On the initial walk around this beautiful grand old building, Chris Conway the amazing Most Haunted television medium illustrated his mediumship skills when in the Victorian school room he picked up the name of Mr. Trainer, and Chris stated that Mr.Trainer was indeed a ghostly school teacher who still resided in that area of the building. Unbeknown to Chris there was in fact a Mr. Matt Trainer on the guest list of the investigation, who was actually a school teacher too, this discovery absolutely amazed everyone on the event.

If that wasn’t enough before the investigation had begun, whilst Chris was calling out in the group vigil for spirit communication, there was the loudest bang on the door of a cupboard, this shocked most of the group who heard the loud bang, some ghost hunters were actually seen to jump out of their chairs in fright.
As we all went our separate ways in search of spirit communication, it wouldn’t take long for the ghostly Cusworth hall occupants to make their presence known, in one vigil a bewildered Violet claimed to have had her leg slapped, and Helen felt her jeans been tugged on a vigil.

There was numerous vigils that had some great results with the glass divination and table tipping, in fact in one vigil it was noted that the table moved around the hearse room and one group actually witnessed a table move by itself with no ones hands on the table this had Andy, Nicola and Jody absolutely staggered.
Angela, Sam and Shelley were startled to see the glass move in a vigil on the Ouija board, it was said that the spirit of a child made contact with the group, in the room adjoining the school room.
Jo felt the bench move in the school room this caused to her to leap up in terror and move from the bench to another place in the room and Carol’s torch came on by itself in another vigil, and in the wedding room Claire felt as though an unseen force was pushing her down from the shoulders, and in the same vigil many ghost hunters felt the icy breeze of spirits moving around them.

As the event came to a close another mystery came to light, where had all the time gone, many ghost hunters said that the time had flown by and the events that unfolded during the night had opened many of their eyes to another world besides our own, as we all said our au revoirs it was summed up best by one of the sceptics of the night, who said that he now knew for sure there was more to our world than we know.

We cannot end there without a big thank you to Mr. Chris Conway for coming along and joining us on this paranormal investigation, it was said by countless of ghost hunters on Saturday that Chris was such an amiable, sociable, and modest man, and we at Simply Ghost Nights second that too.

The Night Emily Bronte Contacted Us In A Seance

What a night of paranormal activity we at Simply Ghost Nights experienced in the Black Bull Haworth, Bradford, England, which is in the centre of the world famous novelists, the Bronte sisters country. They used to live in the parsonage which is in close proximity to the Black Bull.

On a recent ghost hunt, we had ghostly communication with a spirit from the other side, who claimed to be none other than Emily Bronte, with a group of ghost hunters who were participating in a glass divination experiment. In a vigil in the restaurant area, the group were participating in glass divination, they had gleamed that the spirit communicating with them was a lady, when they asked the lady to spell her first name. It spelt out, E.M.I.L.Y, and one of our ghost hunters exclaimed, “is it Emily Bronte”.

The glass moved to yes, this left the group ecstatic and delighted, the group continued at length communicating with the world famous author to their joy and amazement.
Everyone in the room felt both honoured and privileged to be communicating with such a world famous spirit.
The group asked many questions and received many 'yes and no's' to their questions. We asked each ghost hunter who was part of the investigation using the glass, to remove their finger in turn as to rule out any tomfoolery.

Everyone was satisfied that there was no trickery at all from anyone, the whole mood of the room was one of astonishment. This night was one that we would not forget in a hurry.

What a fragile world we live.

Saw the photo's of the International Space Station yesterday, and the Endeavour and how they had docked together. You could just see the horizon of the earth and I think at that moment, I thought how serene the earth looked from above.
But down on earth it can be a different story, wars, death, disasters etc, but we have to remember the nice things in life, like our family, our surroundings, actually being alive. Not every plane crashes, luckily there's not a war on everywhere, let's take all of lifes mishaps and banana skin and move forward.

Overnight Ghost Hunt, White Hart, Gainsborough, with Simply Ghost Nights

Hidden rooms, suicides, and ladies of the night, are only the fabric of the make up that we know about this former Coaching Inn. Join us as we delve deeper into it's past, as we investigate the strange noises and disembodied voices of patrons from a time long since gone. The White Hart Hotel is a huge four storey building steeped in history and as far as we know there has been a building on this very site that dates back to as far as the 10th century.
The entrance lobby was once used as an entrance to the stables where the coach and horses would be then changed before they carried on their way, whilst the travellers would visit this old coaching inn for a stopover. An apparition of old woman has been seen on many occasions in this area.
Whilst we were visiting the location two of our team members could not believe it when they heard loud thudding sounds coming from an empty reception area, with the help of the hotel staff they tried every way to debunk or fathom out this but found no explanation, to the bizarre noises they had heard.

We then moved into the large function room where the informed us has been a hive of activity in the past. Room 40 is a very luxurious large room with an impressive bay window where the ladies of the night would sit and attract the attention of passers by in the street. The ladies of the night are a regular sighting to this day still sitting in the bay window.
Room 19 houses the spirit of a rather strict old gentleman who does not like woman entering his room. He tends to leave a scent of cigar smoke to alert visitors when he is around. Room 23 harbours a secret past as when the rooms were being refurbished the builders discovered a secret room which had been bricked up, when they knocked down the adjoining wall they discovered a study like room complete with desk and typewriter as though set up as a museum display. Why was this room bricked up like that? Nobody knows the reason so join the Simply Ghost nights team as we hold a paranormal investigation to unearth some of the ghostly activity that allegedly goes on her. If you dare!

Ghost Hunting at Bolling Hall with Simply Ghost Nights.

Firstly we must say a massive thank you to both Paul and Dave, the Bolling Hall staff who were so helpful in making the event run so smoothly. Their input and chat at the beginning of the night was first class and ensured a smooth running event.

We must begin in the reputedly most haunted bedroom in England, the panelled bedroom where Rosey was conducting a vigil with a group of ghost hunters, in the darkened quiet of the bedroom, they were just calling out when the heavy door that had been shut suddenly swung open at great speed, an intrepid ghost hunter Simon ran to the doorway to see if another group member had opened it, to Simons
consternation no one was there and the corridor empty. Simon shut the door firmly and they all sat down again all totally bemused, when a few minutes later the door swung open again to the horror of all of them in the room, Simon again was first one to the doorway and again no one was insight. Simon yet again shut the door firmly and some minutes passed again when the incident happened again, for a third time Simon got to the doorway and no one was there.

This episode had Susan absolutely terrified where she had to go and have a cup of tea and a chat with our lovely paranormal investigator Steven. As Rosey spoke about the incident later it had totally baffled her and Melonie who had witnessed all the three occurrences, Rosey added that she had never seen such power from the spirit world as to open a door so violently.
Glynn, Craig and Karl were amazed when attempting spirit communication through table tapping, when however many times they tapped on the table the same number of taps was repeated on the table by the unseen hands of the spirit world. In another room coughing was heard so audibly in the room that it was as though someone in the room had actually done it, however there was no one in the corner where the noise had emanated from. This was not the only ghostly voice heard, in a number of vigils the sound of a woman moaning was heard clearly by many ghost hunters in the group.
In the cellar Mel our lady medium felt the ghostly hands of a spectral being touch her arm, and also whilst attempting to contact the supernatural; inhabitants of Bolling Hall via the K2 meters, the spirit world responded by spiking the K2s on request for a considerable amount of time to the groups amazement.

There was some fascinating results with the Franks box too, when yet again specific answers were given to specific questions, again the results we gathered with the Franks box gives more and more credence to the white noise theory.
In the blue bedroom Christina saw the mattress on the bed dip, as though someone had just sat on the bed, plus she also mentioned that she may have briefly seen the apparition of a man in the direction of the bed. The sighting of light analomies was also reported, blue lights were said to be seen moving around by Simon and Rowena.

In another vigil the table was seen to be tipping on request to each member of that vigil and also glided across the room on request too. However on a final note both Tania and Nicola turned their phones off at the beginning of the paranormal investigation, and were staggered to find both of their phones had been turned on later in in the event.

As we said our farewells to all our fantastic ghost hunters for joining Simply Ghost Nights, Dave and Paul for their great help, but we also said a thank you to the former earthly occupants of Bolling Hall for their interaction in making the event a success with the paranormal activity they provide

Ghost Hunting at Bolling Hall, 4th of June, with Simply Ghost Nights.

The Simply Ghost Night venture to Bolling Hall or a ghost hunting event, on Saturday the 4th of June 2011. It promises to be quite an exciting night of paranormal activity, with past experiences at this haunted location consisting, reports of whole groups feeling nauseous at the same time were reported in one vigil, and aggressive table tipping and some ghost hunters stated that they heard the loudest rapping on a table ever. A ghostly lady is said to fleet in and around the building too, join us to see if we can catch a glimpse of this mysterious ghostly figure, at Bolling Hall. The Simply Ghost Night team cannot wait to visit Bolling Hall, with so much paranormal activity recorded over the years, Bolling Hall is a must for any ghost hunting enthusiast. In 1643 the first ghost was sighted at Bolling Hall, believed to be the first ghost sighting ever recorded in the UK. Legend as it that the head of the Royalist army, the Earl of Newcastle felt his bedclothes being pulled away from him and saw an apparition of a lady. Another unexplained occurrence is the heart wrenching sobbing of an unseen child.

Ghost hunting at Hyde Town Hall, Manchester with The Simply Ghost Nights team.

The haunted Hyde Town hall was built in 1885 by Mr. J W Beaumont and it certainly was built to impress! The building is huge with so many areas to explore each being completely different in its own unique way. Hyde Town Hall even boasts its own war memorial to the great war of 1914-1918. Paranormal activity is a common feature at the town hall, there are many recorded sightings of oddly dressed people walking around the building, dressed in clothes from a time gone by, and reports of soldiers from the Great War spotted in the building too. We were so excited at the prospect of a ghost hunt at this renowned haunted location.

It didn’t take long after a cup of tea for the activity to commence, in the first vigil in the Registry room of the hall the group were calling out for spirit communication when the flowers that were in the room suddenly began to sway to and fro, we checked for any draughts around the vicinity of the vase holding the flowers, however we did not notice any breeze whatsoever, even when Rosey sat near the flowers there was no other breeze and the flowers never swayed again.

Also in the room Stuart noticed the silhouette of a first world war soldier stood by the fireplace, the group asked out for confirmation and the group heard tapping emanating from the direction of the fireplace. The group asked for further spirit communication and were astounded when the flowers began to sway yet again, Rosey immediately said that there was no breeze near her at all.

The strangest incident of the night was when the group were calling out for ghostly sign when the glass panelled door to the room suddenly opened and a man’s clearly appeared at the glass and then disappeared. We ran straight to the door to investigate and found no one there at all, we then asked the security guard who was watching television if he had left the room recently, he confirmed that he had not left his room all night. The group had all seen this mysterious face look at them, we then described how we all felt and the feeling was that it must have been one of the spectral populous of Hyde Town Hall.

At the end of the night we had gathered more than enough evidence to say that Hyde Town hall definitely needed further investigation at a later date.
